Holding multiple accounts is not permitted under any circumstances. Please do not create accounts for your friends. Let them do it.

All members must be 18 years of age or older to join.
And, please, act your age. We detest immaturity. We are not liable, especially if you lie about your age.

No profanity, racial slurs, or racial-hatred.
We will not tolerate individuals who feel the need to parade their offensive beliefs. This site is a priviledge, not a right. Feel free to express yourself... elsewhere. For further information, please see the section titled "on the 1st amendment" below.
5.
Nudity and explicit or highly suggestive content is not allowed.
See below for further information regarding rules on uploading photos. Your account may be banned if you upload a picture of your wang.
6.
No spamming.
Meaning, if you have something to say, say it once and only once. If we catch you leaving multiple copies of the same message over and over again, we will not be happy. This includes messages with excessive numbers of emoticons.
7.
No whining.
Constructive comments and suggestions are always welcome.
8.
No publicized arguments or slander.
The public areas of our site are not intended as a venue for resolving conflict. Take your personal issues with each other off the site or into private areas of the site. Journals are NOT considered private. Negative commentary on other individuals must be extremely vague or will be subject to revision by staff members.
9.
No harassment.
If you continue to knowingly contact another member when they have repeatedly requested that you stop, this constitutes harassment. We will deal with such matters on a case-by-case basis as we see fit.
10.
No fakers.
We aggressively pursue accounts that we believe to have fake photos. Any and all accounts may be subject to a required salute at any point in time. Any users required to salute will have 48 hours to provide their salute. Those that do not comply will be banned.
11.
No copyrighted material, and no advertisements.
This applies to all parts of the site, including your profile. If we catch you using our site as a way to advertise or generate business, you may be subject to a ban, no questions asked.
12.
No illegal activity.
All attempts to hack or manipulate our website, distribute deceptive or virus-infected software or links to such content, promote scams or phishing schemes, or any other legally questionable activity will not be tolerated.
13.
Don't be stupid. Seriously.
BAN-WORTHY OFFENSES
PHOTO RULES
The following circumstances are likely to get you banned. Please bear in mind that we do not WANT to ban anyone. Banning is considered to be a last resort solution.
1.
Previously banned members.
Bans are not negotiable. Creating a new account will only get you banned again.
2.
Malicious intentions.
If you give us reason to believe you are here exclusively to cause trouble or waste our time, you're history.
3.
Underage.
Underage users will be banned without warning.
4.
Fake / Multiple accounts.
If you are holding fake or multiple accounts and do not comply with a salute request, we will ban all accounts involved.
5.
Repeat Offenders.
Most rule violations will get you a warning. Generally speaking, if you give us the impression that you intend to cooperate with us, you will not be banned. Users who continuously violate the rules despite warnings will be banned.
6.
Excessive Advertising.
If your sole purpose in existing on this site is advertising a business or another website, your account may be banned.
7.
Illegal Activity.
See rule 12 above. All violations will result in immediate bans.
NOTE: We reserve the right to ban any user for any reason we see fit with as much or as little warning as we feel is appropriate.
Any user photos uploaded that violate the following guidelines will be rejected.

4.
No nudity/explicit content.
To clarify:
No female nipples or areolae.
No pubic hair or pubic shots below the pelvic bone.
No genetalia.
No sexual content, even in the absence of nudity.
Blurring or digitally altering the offending portion of a photo may not make it acceptable.
5.
No overtly offensive, racially charged, or hateful content.
6.
Photos must not contain minors, including children and infants.
We appreciate your desire to show off your children, but for various legal reasons we cannot allow photos of minors to be displayed on our website under any circumstances.
7.
Photos may not advertise other websites.
If your photo has another URL in it or more importantly, another website's watermark on it, it will not be accepted.
8.
Collage/multiperson photos must CLEARLY INDICATE who the account holder is within the photo.
9.
Photos must NOT cut off the "CyberSocieties.com" logo at the bottom left.
10.
No photos with INVERTED or abnormal palettes.
We don't care if its your face. No inverted colors.
ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT AND CENSORSHIP
In trying to enforce our rules we are frequently challenged with accusations of Censorship and denying people their "First Amendment rights" or "rights to free speech". In fact, such an occurance is so frequent that we feel it justifies special attention on this rules page.
It seems that many individuals do not properly understand the meaning of this Constitutional Amendment. Allow us to clarify, as the founders of this website are actually strong supporters of the First Amendment.
CyberSocieties and all forms of text and images contained on our privately owned webservers are exclusively our private property. Your Constitutional right to free speech does not grant you the right to speak freely via any privately-owned medium that is not your own. As a matter of fact, the only individuals whose words are protected under the first amendment on this website are the founders.
Similarly, if we choose to modify or remove your words from our website, it does not constitute censorship in any way whatsoever. On the other hand, if the government were to shut our site down for content-related reasons, THAT would be censorship.
Your Constitutional rights will not protect you here any more than they would if you snuck into the offices of a newspaper and added your own words to the newspaper without proper authorization. Under the First Constitutional Amendment you are granted the right to start your OWN website and publish anything on it that you please, and nothing further.
We hope this clarification helps each of you to understand why following our rules is not optional. The services that we provide to you are privileges, not rightfully yours. Thank you for not abusing these privileges.
